Light, color and sound therapy

Hepion’s therapy is based on colors, animation, light and sounds

Sound images reflect by the motion of light on the screen in combination with a particularly picked range of colors. The interaction between light, color and sound gives a unique type of treatment with impressive results in the treatment of many mental and physical diseases.
Music and sound especially composed and developed for therapeutic use
Hepion’s sounds and light images are specially developed and composed for therapeutic use. Natural sounds are mixed with acoustic sounds, combined in order to create unique sound images, which can be changed in intensity and mood. The nature is a constant theme.
The unique sound and musical compositions are based on:

•    The Solfeggio-scale
•    Binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronal tones
•    Overtones
•    Archaic sounds

The Solfeggio-scale

Hepion’s music and sound images are based on six different frequencies. The six different frequencies are known as Solfeggio-tones, which are able to change people’s physical and mental moods.
Each single frequency has a special purpose, that affects people in different ways. Hepion primarily works around the 528 Hz and 741 Hz:

•    UT – 396 Hz – turning grief into joy, liberating guilt and fear
•    RE – 417 Hz – undoing situations and facilitating change
•    MI – 528 Hz – DNA repair
•    FA – 639 Hz – re-connecting and balancing, relationships
•    SOL – 741 Hz – solving problems, expressions/ solutions
•    LA – 852 Hz – creates inner balance, harmony and self-awareness

Binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronal beats

By using light and sound waves the brain’s oscillations can be adjusted to change mental conditions. To achieve this, Hepion uses binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronal beats.

•    Binaural beats

When two tones at slightly different frequencies are presented separately for the left and right ear, the listener only hear a single sound. This phenomenon is known as binaural beats.
Example: When a 200 Hz tone is played in the left ear and 204.9 Hz tone in the right ear, the listener achieves a brain wave frequency of 4.9 Hz. This is a Theta state of consciousness – a very relaxed condition, experienced by meditation and in the first stages of sleep.
Read more about the brain’s different states of consciousness option under How the brain works.

•    Monaural beats

Monaural beats arise, when two frequencies are merged together from a single audio source and create an audible pulse or rhythm. This means monaural beats occur, before the sound itself reaches the ear unlike binaural beats, which are a coupling that happens in the brain, due to each ear perceives its own frequency.

•    Isochronic beats

In short; isochronic beats are regular beats of a single tone turning on and off in a fast pace and in a fixed interval. This creates a rhythmic, pulsing sound image that the brain synchronizes with. Hepion uses pulses as well as wave amplitudes.

•    Overtones

An overtone is any frequency higher than the lowest. A tone is generated resulting in hearing a difference between sounds of the same frequency. The idea behind this is, that the resonances may seem relaxing and split stereotype frequencies in the body, that otherwise would create imbalance.

•    Archaic sounds

40% of Hepion’s sounds are archaic sounds. These sounds are basic sound images everyone can recognize, for example birds singing, trickling water, waves etc..
